Lamination

Jute can be laminated, resulting in a stiffer fabric. Unlaminated versions can be quite limp.The advantage with unlaminated jute is that it can be made into a drawstring bag, whereas laminated bags usually have cotton webbing handles. Remember, there are two versions of lamination, one non-biodegradeable version and a bio-compostable version, please request this when placing your order.

Jute bags are loosely woven, so it is advised that you do not print small detail images on this material as the print will fall through the gaps in the weave.
